Wildlife, Nature & Recreation

An abundance of wildlife can be found on the ranch, which is nestled in a natural migration corridor for moose, elk and mule deer. Elk can be found calving in the ranch’s lush grasslands and privacy of the aspen groves every Spring. Songbirds, raptors and fowl are prevalent throughout the property. The meadow tracts include rights to irrigation which allows for the creation of lakes, ponds and streams to enhance the natural beauty of the setting and provide additional habitat for birds such as the Trumpeter Swan, an at risk species.

All parcels of the Spring Gulch Ranch also include private access to fly fishing on the Snake River through Bar BC Ranch. The nationally designated wild and scenic Snake River is revered for excellent dry fly-fishing and for its native Fine Spotted Cutthroat Trout. The local rivers and streams of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem offer some of the most famed fly fishing on the planet.

Jackson Hole is a premier destination for all seasons and is renowned for its countless recreational opportunities including: downhill and cross country skiing, world-class fly fishing, hiking, mountain biking, climbing, horseback riding, big game hunting, snowmobiling, hot air ballooning, white water and scenic rafting, boating and golfing on 5 championship golf courses.
